Training is critical to your success. That’s why we’ve created a learning environment around the dealer force. Our most successful dealers have made a commitment to continually learn more with each passing year. Do this, and your chances of success skyrocket.
We have two training managers on staff, and each district manager (DM) is fully experienced in the tool business. Our training begins the moment you sign on as a dealer with attending one week of classroom training at our company headquarters in Wadsworth, Ohio. We teach you how to use our systems and processes and give you a close-up look at how our tools are manufactured. Most new dealers are astonished to see how each tool in our hardline is hand-made.
But our training encompasses more than just the nuts and bolts of the tool business. We also include sales training and business management guidance to help you be the best business owner possible.
After your initial training, you’ll spend two weeks in your territory with your DM riding with you. He’ll coach you every step of the way while you get your feet wet. Your DM is a helpful resource even after your formal training stops. He will try to help you with any questions you might have!

Additional training opportunities are available through district and regional sales meetings during the year and at our annual Cornwell Tools Rally. “The Rally,” as we refer to it, offers a full-day of training that covers several topics of interest. We usually offer four different tracks and repeat each one throughout the day so that dealers can attend as many as they like.
